David VanCuren is founder and President of VanCuren Services and started doing tree work in 1980 while working for Jerome T. Osborne Sr. Mr. Osborne suggested that Dave drop trees on his farm and split and sell them as firewood. Dave left Osborne in 1986 to start VanCuren Services. That firewood idea has grown to encompass over 65 employees, over 75 vehicles and another 100 pieces of equipment. VanCuren has three facilities totaling over 40,000 square feet under roof including a 12,000 square foot maintenance only facility. From the very beginning Dave has had a different philosophy that has been and continues to be dominant in his business: Have the best and cleanest equipment on every site while leaving the site cleaner than any other company; and Provide the highest quality work by outworking and having better equipment than your competitor.
David enjoys his family, wife Mary, children Morgan, Matt, Molly and granddaughter Kinsley. Matt intends to follow his father into the business.
